Watt Plastics can supply a range of cricket fencing and barrier options for use on/around your Cricket Club. Currently one of the most popular products is the use of permanent picket and a number of clubs have been doing seasonal repairs and upgrades using our fencing options. Depending on budget, permanent picket fence can be used to fence small areas right up to fencing the whole boundary of a cricket pitch. Cricket clubs are finding it is a great investment as not only does it look very smart; they are getting a product that will last for many years if not a lifetime.
One of the problems Cricket Clubs are facing is obtaining the funding for doing improvements to their grounds. Raising funds is one of the biggest challenges faced by Cricket Clubs whether it be for upgrading equipment, ground improvements, pitch maintenance or developing facilities and the money they can raise can only stretch so far. Previously clubs were reliant on local fund raising, company donations and sponsorship but now there is a number of other options such as grants and loans available to clubs. This funding is available not just to the large clubs as many focus on community and grass roots sports.
The large majority of Clubs are not aware of some of the funding opportunities available to them so below we have listed a number of links that cover a whole range of funding and grants.
