It has been a pleasure to supply Chesterfield F.C with our PVC Round Sports Rail as part of the redevelopment of their Erwin Training Ground. Ashley Kirk of Chesterfield F.C got in touch with Watt Plastics looking for a sports barrier solution for their training facilities. Ashley explained they needed a removable solution for a pitch barrier to surround the newly laid training pitches.
Our Round Sports Rail can be installed using a metal spigot which can simply be knocked into the ground securing the posts. This product seemed the ideal solution for Chesterfield F.C’s requirements to act as a barrier and to give the ground a professional looking finish to elevate their training facilities to the next level without the need for an expansive install….the Chesterfield F.C Academy team was on hand to get the job done!
After the Round Sports Rail was installed we were very pleased to be asked to visit the Erwin Training Ground during a sponsors days, where we were offered excellent hospitality from Ashley and the team at Chesterfield F.C.
The day started with coffee and an update from Ashley on the development of the Erwin Training Ground. We were then taken to the training ground with club sponsors to see the new set up and watch the team train. A lunch followed along with words from the first team Manager. A good day all round and great to see our Round Sports Rail in action.
